Carrie Underwood’s tour, “Storyteller: Stories in the Round” made a stop at the Colonial Life Arena Saturday, September 24th, and she brought the house down. The tour, which is currently on its 2nd leg, will play a total of 92 shows this year. This tour features a unique center stage design instead of the typical end stage that most concerts use. Carrie Underwood stated that her favorite part of the show was “The show itself… I can see so many people… I can legitimately see everybody, which is really cool.”

The show opened with Carrie lifted high above the stage singing the opening track on her latest album “Storyteller.” There was never a dull moment in during the show – Carrie was either coming out of the stage on a fire shooting jukebox or belting out one of her many classic hits. Many Greenbrier students attended the show, including freshman Grace O’neal, who said “My favorite part of the show was when she first came out”. Grace was not the only one who enjoyed Carries entrance – sophomore Ella Broussard said “When she first came out because it was overwhelming… it was just crazy”.

It seemed as if every single one of the 10 thousand plus concert goers left more that satisfied with what they had seen. From the pyrotechnics to the amazing vocals this tour hands down was the largest of Carrie Underwood’s career and one of the best of the year.
